Can a CTEK charge a dead battery?
Yes. CTEK chargers are designed to fully charge a battery and then automatically switch over to long term maintenance.
Can a CTEK charger be repaired?
You will probably need to have your proof of purchase available. If the product is within its warranty period you may be able to return it to us for a repair or exchange (depending on model). All CTEK chargers under 10 Amps output have a 5 year manufacturers limited warranty.
How long does it take a CTEK charger to charge a battery?
How long will it take to charge the internal battery from totally drained to fully charged? From “Less than 10% left” – (first led blinking) to fully charged, it will take up to 60 minutes, as long as CTEK standard accessories are used.
Can I leave my CTEK battery charger on all the time?
Can I leave the charger connected to the battery for a long time? Yes. CTEK chargers are designed to fully charge a battery and then automatically switch over to long term maintenance. Before leaving the charger unattended for a long time, ensure that the battery is fully charged, as indicated by the green LED.
Why is my CTEK charger not working?

Can I start car with CTEK attached?
Yes, as with all CTEK chargers – it is recommended to be left connected and switched on when cranking attempt is made.
Will a CTEK charger charge a AGM battery?
There are many different types of car battery available today, including wet cell, calcium and Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) . Each needs to be maintained in a slightly different way, but all of them can be charged and maintained with a CTEK 24V or 12V battery charger.
