How does shutter stock work?
At Shutterstock, customers have the option to purchase a monthly or yearly subscription, which gives them access to our image library and up to 750 image downloads per month. For those who only need a few images, there are on demand image packs, where users can pay to download a finite number of images (i.e. 5 or 25).
Can I sell shirts with Shutterstock images?
Yes! The Enhanced License permits you to use images on merchandise, whether that merchandise is intended for sale, or given away for free. There are no limits on the number of times you can use the image on your merchandise.
What happens if I use copyright images?
If you own copyrighted work, no one else can use your work without your permission as long as you are alive, plus an additional 95 years. If you are caught using copyrighted material or images owned by a legal copyright owner, you may have to pay him civil damages.
Are screenshots fair use?
Fair use applies to screenshots of movies and intellectual property in the same way. If screenshots of these materials are transformative, or if they depict a small part of an overall work, and don’t act as a substitute for the original, there’s a good chance your screenshot is legal.
How much will Shutterstock pay?
Shutterstock pays you 25 to 38 cents every time one of your images is downloaded, based on your earnings tier. The on demand plan lets customers purchase an image pack under the standard or enhanced license.
Can Canva images be used commercially?
All free photos, music and video files on Canva can be used for free for commercial and noncommercial use. If a photo, music or video file contains an identifiable person, place, logo or trademark, please ensure you check the image source or contact us if you’re unsure.
How do you get paid on Shutterstock?
Payouts. When it comes to payments, Shutterstock pays its contributors on a monthly basis. Payments are issued through PayPal, Skrill, and Payoneer. They are calculated at the end of the month for contributors who meet their minimum payout amount and sent to your preferred payment method.
