How hard does epoxy putty get?
Epoxy Putty Stick does not obtain its reputation for nothing: it can be modeled and is therefore unbelievably flexible; when hardened, it is about as hard as steel. It even sets on damp surfaces or underwater. The curing process takes only a few minutes for many products.
How do you set epoxy putty?
Work it into the crack or hole, and then shape or smooth it with your hands. Apply the putty as an adhesive. If you want to use the epoxy putty for bonding, place the product between the relevant surfaces and apply strong pressure to ensure firm contact.
Is Milliput heat resistant?
Milliput will set under water and is heat resistant up to 130°C. Shelf Life: Recommended that Milliput is stored in cool, dry conditions. Please reseal bags after use.
How strong is putty?
The filler is very durable, is impervious to gasoline and water, and is often used to plug fuel tanks or radiators. Some versions of the putty offer a high-end failure temperature of about 600°F. and a tensile strength of 3,960 psi.
How long does epoxy putty last for?

What happens if you put too much hardener in epoxy?
Adding too much of either resin or hardener will alter the chemical reaction and the mixture will not cure properly.
Can you bake Milliput?
Since cured Milliput is heat-resistant up to 130C successive adding/baking is possible.
Is Milliput microwave safe?
Storage and Shelf Life Place unused epoxy putty in polythene bags and re-seal. Storage at high temperatures or high humidity may reduce shelf life. We know customers have softened Milliput by placing it in a microwave on defrost for a few seconds (although this is a practice we could not endorse).
