Tier 8 Sets These sets drop in Ulduar. Additionnaly, some of these parts can be bought with Emblems of Conquest dropping from bosses in the 25-Man version of Ulduar. You also get 2 of them for completing the heroic daily quest.
What is Tier 8?
Tier 8 is a type of item set. Each consist of five pieces. Separate 10- and 25-man versions of each set exist, sometimes referred to by players as “Tier 8.10” and “Tier 8.25” (or “Tier 8” and “Tier 8.5”) respectively. 10-man sets are all prefixed with “Valorous”, while 25-man sets are all prefixed with “Conqueror’s”.

You can also find tier 9 armor sold in Dalaran by merchants who sell that particular armor type. Koralon the Flame Watcher in the Vault of Archavon drops level 232 hand and leg armor in 10 player mode and level 245 hand and leg armor in 25 player mode.
Can Timewalking drop tier?
Yes, any of the main 5 armor slots could drop in non-tier versions. I think the interest is in acquiring tier through TW without having to use a charge of catalyst of creation, which isn’t coming out til mid-april and will have a weekly cooldown initially.
Is tier 1 top or bottom?
Tier 1 is the lowest and Tier 8 is (currently) the highest. The Tiers are designated by Roman numerals (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) etc.

This item can be found within the Argent Crusade Tribute Chest after defeating Anub’arakin the 10-man version of Trial of the Grand Crusader. One also drops from every boss in the 25-man version of Trial of the Crusader.

- from each boss defeated in any level 80 5-man heroic instance (60/62 total)
- from each boss defeated in any normal Icecrown Citadel 5-man instance (8 total)
Can you get tier from weekly?
From the weekly cache of raid gear reward. If you mean the time walking cache, yes they said it can.
Can you get tier from weekly quest?
Tier sets tokens are separete drop from raid, which means they can only be acquired from raid and not these weekly quests.
